Job summary

AEW is seeking a Real Estate Markets Analyst for a 6-month internship starting January 2027 in Paris. You will join the Research & Strategy team and collaborate with tutors to produce market syntheses, analyses, and prospective studies on real estate markets.

The role requires BAC+5 studies in economics/finance/real estate, strong statistical and reporting skills, proficiency with Office, Power BI and GIS, and excellent English.

Job Description

You are joining our Research & Strategy team within AEW, which is looking for a Real Estate Markets Analyst for a 6-month internship from January 2027.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Production of syntheses, presentation materials, analyses, and prospective studies on real estate markets;
• Analysis of new investment or financing opportunities, in close collaboration with the investment/financing teams;
• Research information and market analysis in the context of developing new investment strategies;
• Participation in discussions on study and research topics, and contribution to the research and foresight work carried out by the team;
• Documentary monitoring of developments in the real estate industry: regulations, innovations, mapping of stakeholders, research into new data sources;
• Statistical analyses from our internal and external databases, implementation of data visualization/GIS tools;
• Participation in organizing webinars and events;
• Participation in real estate industry conferences.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• As a BAC+5 student, you are preparing a degree in economics, finance and/or real estate and urban planning.
• You are proficient in statistical, economic and financial analysis, with a strong interest in the real estate sector and its climate transition issues.
• You have excellent writing, synthesis and reporting skills to communicate your results.
• You are familiar with the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), AI tools, and ideally data visualization or mapping software (GIS).
• You demonstrate autonomy, great adaptability and closely follow financial and real estate news.
• You appreciate teamwork and know how to collaborate across disciplines in an international environment.
• And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
