Job Description

You are joining our Portfolio Management – Infrastructure & Energy team looking for aAssistant to Portfolio Managers, for an internship of6 monthsfromJanuary 2027.

As a member of the I&E Portfolio team, you will help the Portfolio Managers manage transactions and bring your sector expertise to the team.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Carry out credit analysis, quotation proposals/LGD/green weighting factor for these clients. Preparation and presentation of annual examinations.
• Monitoring of transactions (waivers, amendments...) and regular updates from management on these topics.
• Research, assess and identify risks and industry trends to assess credit and/or anticipate changes in transaction risk and identify and change deteriorations in risk.
• Regular interaction with internal parties (Coverage, Origination, Risk Department...) and external parties (client, external advisors) for the preparation of these analyses and the monitoring of transactions.
• Monitor the profitability of transactions and propose portfolio strategies on these operations (secondary sales, credit insurance).
• Give your opinion on all new transactions presented to the Credit Committee with a portfolio perspective (benchmarking with other similar transactions on the books, analysis of its profitability and liquidity in the secondary market).

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a Bac+5 student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school, or engineering), with a specialization in finance, commerce, or economics.
You are passionate about infrastructure and financial projects.
You have excellent analytical skills. You quickly assimilate and take the initiative to take over the responsibilities assigned to you.
You have a team spirit and good interpersonal relationships.
Your communication skills, both written and oral, in English are strong. Knowledge of Spanish or Italian would be a plus.
You have a good command of MS Excel (cash flow modeling tools) and other MS desktop software. And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
