Murex invites final-year engineering students or equivalent master’s graduates to join the MX.3 platform team as interns. You will start with an onboarding program on financial markets and MX.3, contributing to projects with real business impact for world-leading financial institutions.

You’ll analyze business challenges, translate requirements into functional solutions, and collaborate with product managers, consultants and engineers on innovative topics at the finance-technology frontier.

Qualifications

• Final-year student from an Engineering School or equivalent Master's degree.
• Strong interest in financial markets, problem-solving, technology and complex systems.
• Curious, analytical and eager to understand how financial institutions operate.
• Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize complex topics.
• Team-oriented, with a proactive and autonomous mindset.
• Fluency in English is required. French is a plus depending on the team.

At Murex, Functional Consultants sit at the intersection of financial markets, technology and business expertise. Whether within our Product teams, who design and evolve the MX.3 platform, or our Client Services teams, who deploy and optimize it for the world's leading financial institutions, they play a key role in shaping solutions used daily by banks, asset managers, insurance companies and corporates worldwide. Joining this internship means becoming part of a community of experts working on some of the most challenging topics in capital markets, spanning trading, risk management, treasury, investment management, operations, collateral management and finance.

Your missions/What you’ll do?

Following an onboarding program covering financial markets, financial products and the MX.3 platform, you will contribute to projects with direct business impact.

• Analyze complex business challenges faced by our clients and translate business requirements into functional solutions;
• Participate in the design, validation and evolution of MX.3 functionalities;
• Contribute to implementation projects, product enhancements and client-facing initiatives for some of the world's leading financial institutions;
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, product managers and software engineers;
• Explore innovative topics at the intersection of finance and technology and present your findings to experts and stakeholders.

A glimpse of the topics you could work on:

Our interns contribute to a wide variety of strategic initiatives across the Functional perimeter.

• Recent projects have covered: quantitative analysis of pricing, risk and P&L attribution models;
• portfolio construction, performance attribution and investment analytics;
• treasury transformation, liquidity management and balance sheet optimization;
• commodities, securities finance and equity derivatives workflows;
• collateral management and post-trade optimization;
• accounting, finance and regulatory reporting challenges;
• AI-powered solutions aimed at improving knowledge management, implementation efficiency and operational productivity;
• design and validation of innovative functionalities shaping the future of the MX.3 platform.

Your profile/Who you are?

Final-year student from an Engineering School or equivalent Master's degree (a specialization in finance is a plus).

Strong interest in financial markets, problem-solving, technology and complex systems.

Curious, analytical and eager to understand how financial institutions operate.

Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize complex topics.

Team-oriented, with a proactive and autonomous mindset.

Fluency in English is required. French is a plus depending on the team.
