Qualifications

• Mindestens 1-2 Jahre Erfahrung in einer internationalen Kanzlei oder Firma.
• Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit multikulturellen Teams und externen Beratern.

Responsabilités

• Überprüfung, Entwurf und Analyse von Verträgen und rechtlichen Dokumenten.

Description du poste

We are looking for an International Legal Counsel (m/f/d), fluent in German and English, to manage Marionnaud Group legal operations (projects involving several affiliates) as well as to be the main legal contact for the Marionnaud affiliates located in Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The successful candidate will report to the International Legal Manager and will be based in Vienna (Austria) or Paris (France).

You will be in regular contact with the French and international Business Units from Marionnaud Group. Your main missions as International Legal Counsel would be:

1. Contract Law: You shall be able to assist or deal with the following tasks, including preparation of summaries for internal purposes:

• Review, drafting, and analysis of non-trade commercial contracts of any kind (IT, advertising, transport, communication, services providers, etc.)
• Review, drafting, and analysis of trade contracts (annual agreements with brands, distribution contracts).
• Update of standard terms and conditions and templates in local language.
• Review, drafting, and analysis of lease contracts.

2. Corporate Law: Drafting and management of bilingual legal documents supporting:

• Approval of annual accounts
• Change of bank signatories
• General POAs, new appointments
• Any other event in the life of the company

3. Legal Advice: Provide the local teams legal advice in the following areas: Data Privacy, Commercial & Consumer Law, Intellectual Property, etc.

4. Litigations: You shall be able to follow-up on the litigations with external lawyers and keep Group legal informed.

5. Compliance:

• Ensure contracts and documents are signed in compliance with Group processes and policies.
• Provide regular reports to the Group regarding the department activity.

What we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in International Business Law, ideally with a focus on German law.
• Fluent in German & English (French is a plus).
• At least 1-2 years of experience in an international law firm or company.
• Experience working with multicultural teams & external legal advisors.
• Willingness to travel across Europe on a regular basis.
• Pragmatic, business-oriented, and able to work independently.
