Alternance - International Compensation and Benefits Apprentice

Start date - September 2025

Contract - 12 - 24 months
Location - Paris, France

As an International Compensation and Benefits Apprentice, you will report to the Performance & Reward Manager of Western Europe. You will assist in deploying compensation and benefits initiatives across France, Spain, and Portugal. This role involves coordinating performance and reward strategies, managing data analytics, and supporting the implementation of new benefit schemes. Your contributions will help promote a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with the global strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  1. Assist the Compensation and Benefits Manager on deployment missions within the WEEU cluster (France, Spain & Portugal).
  2. Coordinate Performance & Reward initiatives alignment with the wider people strategy by partnering with HRBPs to promote a high-performance culture through Performance & Reward initiatives.
  3. Assist in using reporting and data analytics to assess current offerings and inform strategic recommendations on implementing new Performance & Reward initiatives (e.g., remuneration, bonus schemes, STIP, benefits, etc.).
  4. Participate in the compensation benchmark campaign to support HRBP, managers, and recruitment by providing up-to-date compensation data.
  5. Coordinate pension operations, ensuring actions are aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
  6. Contribute to on-trend projects such as new pay transparency legislation, benefits schemes, incentives, etc.

MORE ABOUT YOU

  1. A solid academic background with a Master’s degree in HR, ideally with a focus on Compensation & Benefits or HR controlling & Analytics.
  2. First experience or internship in HR is appreciated.
  3. Fluent in English and French (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus).
  4. Proficient in Excel / PowerPoint and data analysis skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, charts – Power BI is a plus!)
  5. Comfortable with figure and data analysis, demonstrating rigor and discretion where sensitive data is processed.
  6. Curious mindset, detail-oriented and not afraid to share new ideas.

Recruitment Process

  1. A response within two weeks of your application.
  2. If your profile is shortlisted, you will have an initial interview of 30 minutes with one of our recruiters.
  3. Followed by a 20-minute interview with our Talent Acquisition Manager WEEU.
  4. Lastly, a 45-minute interview with your direct manager.
