Qualifications

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of another language is beneficial.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Join our team and play a crucial role in driving the market development of our Content Authoring Solution (CAS) in the Life Science industry. Your expertise and contribution will be instrumental in taking Shaman to the next level.

Life Science organizations have experienced a multifold increase in the demand for fresh, relevant content to meet HCPs’ needs, and struggle to efficiently produce and manage content at scale. Shaman is the leading SaaS content platform for Veeva Systems (the leading Commercial platform in Life Sciences). Our no-code, do-it-yourself experience helps Life Science organizations to get the right content in front of their customers, increase Veeva adoption, and boost marketing omnichannel performance. Shaman is a fast-growing scale-up, with over 50 FTE based throughout Europe.

The Challenge

Our challenge for the next few years is to develop the global market for content creation tooling and onboard new life science customers. We are a fast-growing SaaS scale-up, and we value people who act independently and make things happen. In this great learning experience, you have the opportunity to take full ownership of your business development process, learn, experiment, and optimize as you go. You will be part of a team acquiring new enterprise customers in a rapidly growing market, selling a product with clear benefits. You will play a key role in the expansion of Shaman.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities through inbound and outbound sales activities.
  • Connect with qualified leads to educate them on trends in content production.
  • Help prospects navigate the buying process, using consultative selling to demonstrate how Shaman delivers value, tailored to their specific needs.
  • Manage and drive the entire process, bringing in the right expertise when needed.
  • Plan and execute strategies to expand existing accounts as part of the account team.
  • Represent Shaman at relevant industry conferences in Europe and the US.

Who you are

  • A seasoned sales professional with 7+ years of experience in SaaS for enterprise customers, ideally within a fast-scaling international environment.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Proven track record in consultative selling within multidisciplinary account teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You are based in Europe or work in the CET timezone.
  • You're a true people person. You love getting to know clients and forming strong partnerships.
  • You're a fast learner and enjoy solving problems independently, but you're also not afraid to ask questions.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of another language (e.g., Dutch, German, French, Italian) is a benefit.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial.
