Internal sales specialist within a sub Business Unit (BU), allocated to accounts where possible. Deep knowledge of portfolio, process, and vendor pricing. Manages all quotes and closes orders; incentivized based on part of the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Build excellent customer and vendor relationships through proactive engagement and specialist product knowledge under supervision.
- Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls and engaging in general conversations around solutions/products.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets.
- Develop relationships with key internal and external contacts.
- Engage in active inside selling using various sources to maximize call potential and outcomes.
- Manage customer backorders using specialist knowledge and engage in 'intelligent project fishing.'
- Manage end-to-end projects or hand over to pre-sales for technical requirements in AS.
- Provide, sell, and negotiate product information, pricing, and promotions.
- Maintain service level agreements with customers.
- Achieve KPIs such as customer engagement.
- Promote the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and our value proposition.
- Identify project opportunities and collaborate with BDMs for specific product/vendor knowledge.
- Drive sales of specific products/vendors as required.
- Provide accurate and timely quotations across segments.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of deals in the CRM system, ensuring active closure.
- Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting.
- Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Numerate with good attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Strong priority management and planning skills.
- Goal-oriented with a drive to achieve targets.
- Understanding of the sales process.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to build good relationships.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience with IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM is preferred.
- Knowledge of product sets and the IT industry is desirable but not essential.
