Alvarez & Marsal in Paris invites motivated students to join its Disputes & Investigations internship. You will work with our Managing Director and senior leaders on a variety of matters in France and across borders, applying forensic accounting techniques to real investigations and disputes.

You will assist in compiling data, building financial models, drafting expert reports, and producing client-ready deliverables while developing solutions to complex problems in a fast-paced, meritocratic

Qualifications

• Currently studying at a leading “Grande École” in Business and/or University.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French (additional European languages such as Dutch, German, Italian, or Spanish are a plus).
• Proficiency in Excel, with some experience in financial modeling.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong interest in consulting and private equity, with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic team.

Responsabilités

• Assist with compiling, analyzing, and documenting information in an investigation, dispute, or accounting related matter
• Assist in the performance of complex financial models and analyses
• Assist in the preparation of Expert Witness reports of a financial or economic nature
• Assist with drafting reports and other client deliverables
• Assist with researching technical and industry specific issues
• Develop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box”
• Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities
• Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management

The Team

A&M’s Disputes and Investigations (DI) practice provides forensic accounting and dispute advisory services to clients within a wide variety of industries. The practice brings a practical, results-oriented approach to solving problems related to forensic accounting investigations, financial disputes, regulatory interventions, and technical accounting issues.

How You Will Contribute
