Take on a new challenge and apply to work in Cab & Interior Metier department, the team of Johan HUART (Cab & Interior Metier Manager). In this role, you will participate in imagining the passenger area of the future in conjunction with the R&D team, define engineering rules and standard solutions, and create a global network of technical support across all Train Design Sites (19 worldwide).

Join us and work alongside inclusive and multicultural teammates, collaborating with the Train Design community!


We’ll look to you to:

  • Define the inventory of current Alstom Interiors architecture, module standardization, and standard integration.
  • Contribute to defining standard solutions per Alstom product line, considering all constraints of architecture, fitting layout, equipment integration, cost, manufacturability, maintenance, and performance aspects such as crashworthiness, aerodynamics, acoustics, and thermal management.
  • Contribute to the definition of Metier Rules, Best Practices, and Standard Solution Catalogues.
  • Collaborate with DTC (Design To Cost) and Industrial teams.

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2-3 years of experience in mechanical integration within an engineering department in the transport sector, ideally in railway.
  • Desirable: Experience in detailed design (train manufacturer or supplier).
  • Strong knowledge of design and mechanical integration.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5 for modeling and PDM solutions like DMA or Enovia for managing digital mock-ups.
  • Structured, organized, hands-on, and proactive approach.
  • Professional level English.
  • Availability for some international travel.
