Jobgether is seeking an experienced information security leader to own and drive the security strategy across a software-driven organization. In this interim role, you will partner with Engineering, IT, Legal, and Compliance to embed security into development and platform operations, building a proactive security function aligned with secure-by-design principles.

• 7+ years in information security or related field.
• Degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Experience with software development organizations and modern applications.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the organization’s information security posture with KPIs.
• Define and evolve the information security strategy aligned to business priorities.
• Partner with Engineering to embed security in the SDLC and operations.
• Establish pragmatic security standards and guardrails for risk-based guidance.
• Prepare for PCI-DSS and SOC 2 audits with scalable controls.
• Strengthen threat detection, monitoring, and alerting across apps/infra.
• Advise stakeholders and represent the org in customer/auditor discussions.
• Lead and develop a small security team with accountability.
