Purpose

  • As Integrity and Inspection Team Lead, you manage the Integrity and Inspection disciplines of Piping, Naval and Marine (i.e. direct reports, planning and budget). You support the Strategy developing by best practices, respecting regulatory requirements and being aware of engineering design. You ensure adherence to Processes through regular audits and contribute to Continuous Improvement of processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • You lead the overall activities of the Integrity and Inspection Team and ensure planning and execution of the integrity programs is consistent with GEMS expectations,
  • You support the shorebases assets on corrective work scope support requests
  • You ensure efficient and optimised execution of the Integrity & Inspection strategy considering practical, technical and financial constraints.
  • You analyse inspection results, identified anomalies and failures to identify trends and make necessary adjustments to the Integrity & Inspection strategy.
  • You drive regional unit teams to ensure that strategies are clear and well executed.
  • You provide leadership and develop programs to ensure reduction and control of LOPCs and the integrity of all static process safety barriers.
  • You develop relationships with strategic suppliers to promote technical and financial optimisation of the Integrity and Inspection program.
  • You liaise with Global Leads to provide operational feedback from the fleet to influence new and optimised designs.
  • You participate in failure investigations and implement necessary improvements to ensure future failure mitigations.
  • You develop in accordance with global strategy and publish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs and dashboards), and plan in advance the maintenance strategy to meet the annual KPI target.
  • You lead a team and ensure they have clear objectives and monitor and manage individual and team performance.
  • You calculate your discipline workload and compare with available resources to define a subcontracting strategy.

Education

  • University degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, naval, piping or marine preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Integrity & Inspection in relevant companies
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role (multi-discipline team)
  • Experience in delivery of financial targets, budgets and proposals.
  • Experience of interfacing with Clients, Classification Societies and 3rd Party Service Providers.
