Description du poste

Job Description

The sales integrated representative is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key clients to position Maersk as the preferred logistics partner.

The role involves developing relationships with senior stakeholders across the customer's global organization and facilitating effective solutions to resolve logistics pain points. This aims to enable revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction, helping to achieve sales, volume, and financial targets.

This position can be based in Paris, Marseille, Lille, or Le Havre.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute account development plans for growth aligned with the customer's strategic plan.
  2. Lead and engage the global account team for the customer.
  3. Drive the sales pipeline for significant growth.
  4. Deliver results from sales activities within the customer portfolio by identifying, qualifying, consulting, and selling large-scale, complex supply chain solutions.
  5. Increase logistics share of wallet by selling complex supply chain solutions.
  6. Ensure the customer meets volume commitments and address shortfalls proactively, including renegotiations as needed.
  7. Practice consultative sales to distinguish market presence by understanding customer needs and proposing solutions, offering additional logistics products where appropriate.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Industry professional with knowledge of the retail vertical, especially in France, from a logistics perspective.
  2. Excellent communication, networking, interpersonal, and influencing skills across all levels.
  3. Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and create networks across diverse groups.
  4. Proven track record of targeting, pursuing, and winning complex opportunities, including selling to senior management.
  5. Experience in international supply chain management and leveraging solutions to meet strategic goals.
  6. Ability to engage with executive leadership during the sales process.
  7. Experience in developing integrated transport and logistics solutions beyond point solutions.
  8. Collaborative, results-driven, customer-centric, self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable to ambiguity.
  9. Empathy and ability to turn customer needs into business opportunities.
  10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  11. Fluent in English and French; Spanish is a plus.
  12. Previous sales experience in logistics, ideally in retail or lifestyle sectors, including account management and business development roles.
