Jobtailor in Île-de-France seeks a senior consultant to lead large transformation projects in the insurance sector, covering compliance, risk management, and process improvement. You will collaborate with finance departments of major clients to optimize closing and reporting processes.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of IFRS 9/17 and Solvency II, strong project management skills, and ability to mentor junior staff. Fluency in English is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in business/finance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a large company or consulting firm.
• Excellent knowledge of the insurance sector, its processes (risk, finance, compliance).
• Strong knowledge of national, European and international standards/regulations (IFRS 9, IFRS 17, Solvency II, ENS).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (Agile, planning, budgeting, quality plans, team leadership).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, well organized with proven team management abilities.
• Autonomy, commitment, efficiency and client service orientation.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Work with the Finance Departments of our major insurance clients.
• Lead transformation, compliance, organizational and/or process improvement projects.
• Lead large transformation projects related to changes in accounting standards, regulations and prudential requirements.
• Support clients in optimizing and improving closing and reporting processes.
• Review internal control and risk management frameworks.
• Contribute to the development of more junior team members.

Formation

Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school or university
