Job Description

About Our Client

An international group focused on hydro projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage liability insurance line, including renewing and placing global master general and professional liability policies, coordinating local and project policies, and collaborating with brokers, insurers, and consultants.
• Manage cyber insurance line, including renewal, placement, and overseeing underwriting process; lead cyber incident response team.
• Conduct risk management activities, including analyzing loss data, identifying exposures, and promoting loss prevention.
• Review customer insurance requirements in EPC contracts, analyze, edit, and negotiate provisions.
• Support M&A activities by soliciting quotes for reps and warranties insurance, analyzing offers, and facilitating processes.

Qualifications

• Preferably legal education, with common law preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance department of an international company, or law firm.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance, global insurance programs, and litigation.
• Ability to work internationally, including travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Independent, precise, and problem-solving working style.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Global focus and commitment.

What We Offer

Fully remote position with potential business trips within the EU and US. Salary: 60,000–85,000€ + MBO up to 15% + benefits. No people management responsibilities.
