Qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an Instrumentation Material Specialist M/F, reporting directly to the Head of Field Instrument, Installation and Tools to join our Instrumentation Control System and Telecom (ICST) department team based in Nanterre, France.

About the mission we offer you:

1. Analyze technically the norms and standards related to field instrumentation devices and follow their updates.
2. Select relevant technology to be used.
3. Write specifications, instrument data sheets, and material requisitions (Control valves, ON/OFF valves, Relief Valves, Flowmeters, etc.).
4. Estimate vendor offers technically, issue bid tabulations, and follow up with vendors after ordering.
5. Review and comment on vendor documentation.
6. Lead meetings with vendors.
7. Coordinate with process engineers and installation/piping engineers to exchange necessary data.
8. Follow planning requirements and report to the Instrumentation leader.
9. Work with the inspection department during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

About you:

Qualifications: Graduated with a BTS CIRA or engineering degree, with 0-2 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industry.
