Description du poste

NES Fircroft is seeking an Installation Methods Senior Engineer to oversee the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and umbilicals.

Location: Based in Suresnes, France, or fully remote with onshore/offshore missions to Brazil or Angola.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of engineers and a package.
  2. Handle all external interfaces (clients, suppliers) and internal interfaces (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, purchase).
  3. Prepare documents and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects developed by the Group.
  4. Supervise engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of products.
  5. Plan, prepare, and confirm specific procedures (validation tests on site, transportation, installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) defining priorities.
  6. Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases on vessels to validate technical solutions, ensuring compliance with the Group's HSEQ standards.
  7. Ensure activities adhere to Project standards concerning Quality, Cost, and Time.
  8. Be the technical owner, select contractors, and supervise subcontracted studies.
  9. Validate concepts and manage changes, considering HSEQ criteria.
  10. Validate developments and propose improvements, aligning with HSEQ standards.
  11. Contribute to the development and progression of the team and the expertise of the installation team.
  12. Offer innovative solutions to reduce costs.
