Job Scope:

The Sales Account Manager (SAM) will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics for related product/service lines to achieve sales and profit goals in their designated territories in Germany. The SAM is expected to leverage their knowledge of the business and external contacts to expand and deliver profitable initiatives to the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics for products/services, new markets, and new applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all actions are taken to secure business in competitive situations.
  • Share market knowledge and customer feedback with Senior Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Use CRM to record and manage sales pipelines daily.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or higher in a life science discipline, with practical laboratory experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of the Biological and CRO market, with emphasis on Gene Synthesis, Protein, Peptide, Antibody, or Cell Line Products/Services is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in German is a plus.
  • Ability to operate effectively and succeed in an international business environment.
  • Willingness to travel at least 30%.
