Job Description:

This role involves joining a multidisciplinary expert team supervised by the Research & Innovation Director, collaborating with the Business Unit Product Development Director and Biotech & Medtech Leads. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Performing scientific state-of-the-art and regulatory & guidelines monitoring;
2. Defining and implementing internal research & innovation projects in regulatory science, potentially in collaboration with international public and private partners, leading to scientific publications or whitepapers;
3. Contributing to the analysis and support of innovative product development for customers, especially start-ups, in collaboration with PLG experts who will provide training and supervision.

Education/Experience:

• Recently graduated with a PhD or post-doctoral experience in Software Engineering/Data Science;
• Strong interest in regulatory science within your domain of expertise (no prior experience required);
• Experience in Industry/Entrepreneurship is a plus.

Skills:

• Fluent in English; German is a plus;
• Basic knowledge of Medical Device Software regulatory and compliance frameworks (MDR Rule 11, FDA SAMD);
• Ability to handle software development on Amazon Health Platform AWS and Google Health;
• Curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and constructive criticism;
• Advanced analytical and writing skills;
• Analytical mindset and pragmatic problem-solving approach;
• Team player attitude.
