FORVIA seeks an experienced Innovation System Architect to drive global projects in the automotive seating domain. You will define, develop, and manage the technical scope, lead a cross-functional team, monitor KPIs, and contribute to business cases with cost, purchasing and marketing inputs.

You will lead innovation sessions, engage with OEMs, and secure patents as needed, while driving sustainability initiatives and staying ahead of market trends in mobility technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering/technology.
• Over 10 years of complete seat product design and technical project management experience, preferably in automotive.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of market trends and technological advancements.

Responsabilités

• Define, develop, and manage the technical part of innovation projects (Project Oversight).
• Lead a project team and ensure Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets.
• Track project KPIs, planning, budgeting, and manage data stored in GRIP (Performance Monitoring).
• Contribute to the business case with costing, purchasing and marketing support (Business case).
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and report status to management (Stakeholder Communication).
• Support communication to OEMs and implementation in development programs (Promotion & implementation).
• Lead brainstorming, workshops, and innovation activities; pursue patents when applicable (Innovation).
• Analyze market research and competitor benchmarks to identify innovation opportunities (Market Analysis).
• Lead technical risk analysis (ERA/D-PFMEA) and drive sustainability initiatives (Risk analysis; Sustainability Initiatives).

Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

Innovation System Architect plays a crucial role in driving global innovative projects within the organization and developing innovative solutions for the automotive complete seat industry

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight : Define, develop, and manage the technical part of innovation projects.

Team Leadership : Lead a project team including functional reports from technical contributors, responsible for Quality, Cost, Delivery of the project.

Performance Monitoring : Track project KPI, planning, budget & secure all data available & stored in GRIP.

Business case : Part of the business case elaboration with support from costing, purchasing & marketing.

Stakeholder Communication : Involve all required internal & external stakeholder to the project, report status to top management & functional team,

Promotion & implementation : Support communication to global OEM(s), & implementation in development programs as required,

Innovation : Lead and facilitate brainstorming sessions, workshops, and other innovation-related activities, secure patents as per need & opportunity.

Market Analysis: Understand market research & competitors benchmark to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.

Risk analysis : Lead project technical risk analysis through ERA / D-PFMEA as needed,

Sustainability Initiatives: Drive initiatives that align with Forvia's commitment to sustainable mobility.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications

Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, technology.

Experience: Over 10 years complete seat product design, technical project management, preferably within the automotive industry.

Skills: Project team management skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, extensive complete seat design knowledge, proper English communication and understanding of market trends and technological advancements

Personal Attributes: Creativity, strategic thinking, innovative & sustainable thinking, and a passion for leading teams towards innovative solutions.
