Innovation Project manager Design leader HF

The PM / DL will work on the development of new Autoliv electronics & mechatronics products.

The PM will be responsible for identifying and selecting the best technical solutions for a given product (Performance / Cost / Quality), then developing and validating the electronics according to Autoliv standards and processes with internal and external teams and partners, supported by a cross-functional team (HW, SW, Mechanics, Systems, Purchasing, Dependability, etc.) that he / she will have to coordinate and lead.

An excellent level of English, excellent communication, and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.

The Project Manager will also act as the team's design leader, which involves animating and supporting technical challenges and problem-solving.

The project is complex with several international stakeholders and development partners. The PM should be comfortable maneuvering uncertainty and collaborating with several teams on-site and remotely.

1. Manage the development costs, quality, and planning of the innovation projects assigned to him / her.
2. Define the project development plan in agreement with management & internal clients.
3. Determine resource requirements to complete projects (e.g., workload expertise).
4. Manage the development partner and the internal team.
5. Prioritize and coordinate the assignment of tasks to team members.
6. Coordinate and lead the cross-functional project team.
7. Support the development of concepts to achieve project objectives in accordance with Autoliv's standard processes and overall goals.
8. Support the validation plan and concept.
9. Keep track of the schedule.
10. Produce or ensure the team's production of deliverables and documentation.
11. Report regularly on project progress and risk assessment through formal internal reviews.
12. Prepare and present project milestones and various design reviews and tollgates.
13. Ensure the successful handover of the project and product to the product lifecycle team.
14. Travel regularly, mainly to Sweden & Europe, to participate in workshops, follow up with suppliers, etc.
