Role: Field Sales Engineer

The Field Sales Engineer is responsible for maintaining and developing the business by providing technical and innovative water analysis solutions. Through daily field presence, they support our industrial partners in overcoming production and environmental challenges.

Under the supervision of the Industry Sales Manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to the Industry Market. Ideally, you are based in the Lyon area, working from home.

Typical weekly activities include:

  • Monday: Funnel review, action plan review and implementation for the next 30, 60, 90 days, appointment organization
  • Tuesday to Friday morning: 2-3 customer/prospect visits, notes/summary using our internal CRM (Salesforce), handling incoming demands with support from our services
  • Friday afternoon: Remote team meeting, debriefing, and weekly wrap-up

Essential requirements:

  • University or engineering degree (Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Measurement)
  • Previous experience in the water industry or industrial market is a plus
  • Positive mindset and motivation to perform in a competitive environment
  • Team player with dedication to customers and good interpersonal skills
