  • Réalisation d'études de faisabilité et participation à la conception de l'architecture du système.

Air Liquide Medical Systems is a subsidiary of Air Liquide Healthcare dedicated to Medical Devices. The company develops, manufactures, and sells innovative products in ventilation, medical gases, and aerosol therapy. With approximately 460 employees worldwide, including 245 in France, all sedentary employees are based in Antony, from R&D to manufacturing and support functions.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Join the R&D management team at Air Liquide Medical Systems as a Systems Engineer! Within the Research and Development Department, you will participate in designing our respiratory assistance and medical gas delivery equipment. You will join the System Center of Excellence, comprising about ten members.

You will be involved in all development phases, especially in designing activities, including:

  • Feasibility studies,
  • Participating in system architecture design,
  • Drafting related system requirements,
  • Developing and managing design files (specifications, design justifications, implementation choices, etc.),
  • Writing specifications for embedded algorithms,
  • Monitoring development with domain experts,
  • System modeling and analysis,
  • Overseeing device performance validation steps,
  • Communicating product design (explaining and justifying technical choices) to the entire project team,
  • Participating in and conducting design reviews,
  • Drafting and executing system-level integration tests,
  • Contributing to test plans and system validation,
  • Capturing knowledge about medical devices and implementing operational improvements.

You will also contribute to capturing domain expertise through:

  • Patent studies and filings,
  • Innovation projects and module developments,
  • Technological watch,
  • Reviewing medical publications relevant to our field,
  • Participating in risk analysis and implementing risk control measures.

You will ensure strict compliance with standards and the design and development processes applicable to medical device design at ALMS.

Are you a Match?

With a Master's degree in engineering, you have at least 3 years of professional experience (excluding internships and apprenticeships) in product design and development, ideally within a highly regulated industry. You have knowledge in:

  • Design and development of complex systems,
  • Requirements management,
  • Control systems and regulation,
  • Modeling and simulation,
  • User needs analysis, applicable standards, manufacturing methods, and product specifications to propose development concepts,
  • Signal processing,
  • Fluid mechanics,
  • Embedded systems constraints,
  • Basic knowledge of C and C++ languages.

You are recognized for your autonomy, versatility, and rigor. You demonstrate good synthesis and analysis skills, effective prioritization, strong communication, listening abilities, and teamwork. An advanced level of English is required.
