Job description

Within Egis' Aviation division, you will contribute to safety activities related to the deployment of French air traffic management system evolutions, developed by DSNA and DTI, deployed across control centers in France.

The projects include:

  • The French air traffic management system (CAUTRA);
  • The new En-Route 4-Flight system;
  • The new Approach and Tower SYSAT systems.

What will you do and what is the goal?

You will conduct safety studies essential for the deployment of air traffic control system upgrades, demonstrating risk acceptability.

How will you do it?

Your missions will include:

  • Analyzing system evolutions;
  • Identifying hazards;
  • Seeking risk reduction measures;
  • Establishing safety requirements;
  • Verifying safety compliance.

Who will you work with?

You will collaborate with:

  • Engineering teams specifying system evolutions;
  • Air traffic controllers to characterize hazards;
  • Testing teams verifying safety requirements;
  • The surveillance authority (DSAC) for safety approval.

Work environment

Within a safety/security community at Egis, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development, you will join a dynamic, collaborative safety team. You may work onsite at Egis or remotely, and attend meetings at the DTI when required.

Profile

Engineering degree or equivalent, with proven experience in safety studies and knowledge of Systems Safety Methodology.
