Your role: Our client seeks to hire a Network Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage campus LAN/WiFi infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WiFi networks to meet performance standards.
• Monitor and optimize network performance for seamless connectivity.
• Implement and support network solutions for effective communication.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging LAN/WiFi technologies.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of new LAN/WiFi technologies.
• Collaborate with teams to design network solutions aligned with business goals.
• Implement tools for real-time visibility into network performance.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and optimize performance.
• Address network issues proactively to maintain performance.
• Work with security teams to enforce security measures and ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
• Manage action plans, coordinate crisis meetings, and validate operation plans.
• Oversee the lifecycle of LAN/WiFi infrastructure and solutions.

Technical Environment: LAN/WiFi (Switching/Routing/Segmentation): Cisco Meraki; Monitoring and Log Management: Icinga, Grafana, Kibana; Security: Checkpoint, Fortinet, Zscaler ZIA/ZPAA; Automation & Orchestration: Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins; DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP): EfficientIp.
