Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Verification Engineer or Quality Manager.
  • Knowledge of EN50128/129 standards and SRS including Subset 026.

Hitachi Rail France is strengthening its teams and recruiting a Quality & Verification Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract for its site in Les Ulis (91) – headquarters.

The position we offer:

Responsible for system, subsystem (EVC, DMI/TDS), software, and software component verification activities for ETCS/ERTMS onboard signaling applications.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Estimating verification activities and defining methodological plans
  • Performing coverage verifications of specifications and European standards (SRS) through system and subsystem specifications
  • Performing vertical verifications of the development cycle (coverage analysis from one phase's specifications to the next)
  • Performing horizontal verifications of the development cycle (coverage analysis within the same phase's specifications and tests)
  • Analyzing compliance of development and testing activities with EN50128 standard
  • Supporting project teams (system, development, integration, validation, RAMS, Quality) and certification processes (ISA, Notified body)
  • Ensuring implementation of quality and management system plans (QMS/SMQ)

Work modalities:

  • Full-time
  • Partial telecommuting possible (up to 2 days per week)

Location:

  • In the Courtabœuf business park
  • Easy access by car from A10/A11 and N118, bus n°22 from Massy Palaiseau RER station (RER B and C)
Your profile:

With a Bac+5 degree, you are a graduate of an engineering school or university with specialization in design, validation in rail, or quality management on projects. This role requires:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Verification Engineer or Quality Manager, with methodology in V&V processes and knowledge of standards in rail
  • Knowledge of railway signaling functions and subsystems, national and international standards (EN50128/129), SRS including Subset 026, ISO 9001
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical teams
  • Proficiency in French and English, both technical and fluent, to operate in an international and multicultural environment
