Lead Method Engineer - Structure Lifting and Subsea Installation

Main Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and select the proper installation methodology related to the scope of work.
2. Issue work procedures and detailed task plans according to project requirements, HSE standards, quality standards, and client standards.
3. Establish the necessary installation documents, considering the schedule for deliverables to the client, and follow up on client comments and document approvals.
4. Define the scope of work to be subcontracted and establish the scope for subcontractors.
5. List the equipment required for the activities.
6. Coordinate with the project procurement manager to call for tenders and analyze subcontractor/supplier proposals.
7. Participate in the selection of subcontractors/suppliers and validate technical dossiers.
8. Develop schedules for equipment supply, resource planning, and overall activity timelines.
9. Prepare technical reviews of procedures for project approval by the technical team.
10. Collaborate with operations engineers to ensure the feasibility of operations and manage interfaces.
11. Participate in lessons learned processes with the customer.

The Method Engineer may oversee site operations (Offshore Congo), ensuring understanding and compliance with work procedures, preparing kickoff meetings, and managing changes through active participation in change management processes.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a marine methods engineer, with offshore lifting and subsea installation expertise.
• Background: Maritime career with offshore experience.
• Languages: English mandatory; French is a plus.
• Tools: Orcaflex proficiency.
• Skills: Team player, good listener.
