Job Description:

Airbus Defence & Space is seeking an Experienced Maritime System Integration Engineer (m/f) to join our Maritime Delivery Engineering Department based in Elancourt, France.

You will be part of a team delivering future Maritime Surveillance solutions. Within Maritime Delivery Engineering, you will be involved in system integration, validation, and deployment for our clients internationally, using our product STYRIS.

STYRIS is an Airbus product suite that collects, organizes, consolidates, enriches, disseminates, and displays data from various sensors such as radars, Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), RDF direction finders, cameras, weather stations, and others. It is built on a modular architecture with an ergonomic user interface, enabling monitoring and management of critical maritime situations and communication with relevant authorities.

Your Challenges:

You will primarily handle system integration and testing tasks, including:

1. In Factory:
2. Defining verification methods for system requirements
3. Developing integration, validation, and verification strategies considering project constraints
4. Configuring factory platform needs and system setup
5. Conducting system integration and validation tests, producing acceptance tests, and participating in client acceptance tests
6. Tracking bug fixes and change requests

On Client Site:

Participating in system installation and commissioning

Leading or supporting acceptance tests on-site

Possibly training operational clients and supporting maintenance teams

Your Profile:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development or system integration/installation of similar systems.

Essential Skills:

• Linux administration
• Scripting languages (Puppet, Ruby, or equivalent)
• Network configuration (Cisco switches/routers)
• Testing tools (TestLink, Quality Center)
• Bug management tools (Jira, etc.)
• Fluent in French and advanced (B2) in English
• Organized, autonomous, team-oriented, rigorous, and curious

Additional skills include software configuration (SVN, GIT), virtualization (VMware, HyperV), cybersecurity, databases (Cassandra, Postgres), and Windows administration. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

This role requires security clearance or eligibility for such clearance by recognized authorities. French nationality is required per IGI 1300 of August 9, 2021.
