Mission
You will work within the Telecommunications and Information department, which is attached to the Sub-Directorate responsible for Operations and Technical Resources. This department ensures the exploitation of information systems resources of the CNES/CSG (Guyanese Space Center) and their adaptation to technological and technical developments. It provides technical support and services in Telecommunications, Business IT, and Video Optics for CNES/CSG users and space base partners. The position is within the IT activity of the department.
You will be involved in implementing, developing, and supporting new IT resources to maintain CSG's competitiveness globally. Participation in satellite launch campaigns from CSG may also be required.
Operational activity
You may participate in launch operations during the implementation of IT resources, monitoring satellite preparation and launch campaigns.
Project management
CNES is transforming its Information Systems, including communication solutions and digital workplace, planning a migration to Microsoft M365. You will prepare this migration at CSG, focusing on user adaptation to new collaborative tools, working closely with teams at CSG and the Toulouse Space Center.
Profile
Trained as a Computer Engineer, High School Engineer, or with a university equivalent, proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking), with several years of experience in defining, implementing, or operating IT systems. Essential qualities include responsibility, autonomy, communication skills, rigor, teamwork, motivation, and dedication to quality work.
