Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Department and integrated into the nacelle actuation system engineering team within the Systems and Equipment department, you will actively participate in reducing the aircraft's carbon footprint.

In a context where aircraft electrification is increasingly prevalent, you will have the opportunity to contribute to establishing system architectures that limit power draw from the aircraft's network.

Your main missions will include:

  1. Establish technical compliance with internal or external customer specifications (commercial programs).
  2. Participate actively in writing system specifications and ensure traceability using engineering requirements tools (DOORS Rationale and DOORS NG).
  3. Define validation and verification plans for the system.
  4. Resolve complex technical problems across multiple domains: mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic.
  5. Design and evaluate system architectures using a system architecture methodology to select the most relevant one during pre-project and R&T phases.

This activity will involve:

  1. Contributing to the development of the architecture definition and maturation plan (R&T) / bid response plan (Pre-Project), defining the development logic.
  2. Ensuring the technical progress of the project in line with quality, cost, and schedule constraints.
  3. Guiding technical studies, defining, and implementing associated action and investigation plans.

Transversally managing expert teams responsible for product design validation and system/structure integration.

Providing internal reporting and maintaining technical interfaces with internal clients, external clients, and suppliers.

The activities will focus on electronics, electrical, and software domains. Working within a multidisciplinary team of 30 people, you will deploy a system architecture approach based on the CESAMES methodology supported by MBSE tools.

Occasional travel within France and abroad is expected.

Job Requirements

With a BAC+5 degree and an engineering diploma, Master, or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in the aerospace sector.

Specialized in electrical, electronic, and software domains, you have participated in R&T or development projects and are familiar with system architecture methodology and tools (MBSE and requirements management tools).

You possess transversal management knowledge, are dynamic, have a synthesis mindset, and can lead a team.

Additional Information

Knowledge of the AMESim simulation tool is a plus.
