Why do we need you?

The Thermics group of Products and Systems is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual ready to tackle challenges related to developing sustainable products and services for the housing, mobility, and industry markets.

You will join an R&D team of 20 specialists in thermal transfers, building physics, and metrology.

You will work on developing materials, products, and systems as part of innovation projects for various Saint-Gobain operational units.

Main missions include:

1. Developing and proposing a relevant scientific approach to your clients, combining theoretical, numerical, and experimental work to effectively address identified issues.
2. Managing R&D projects efficiently and rigorously, ensuring quality and timely delivery according to stakeholder agreements.
3. Writing concise technical reports to summarize your work, facilitating knowledge capitalization and sharing.
4. Establishing and monitoring scientific collaborations (theses, post-docs) with academic laboratories in France and internationally.

Ideal candidate profile:

• PhD in mechanics and energy, fluid mechanics, physics, or scientific computing.
• Beginner or with initial experience post-PhD.
• Pragmatic, innovative scientific approach focused on results.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.

Salary: €46,500 - €49,000 per year
