Job Description:

We are seeking a researcher to join our R&D team, closely linked to Saint-Gobain's Gypsum, Insulation, and Mortar activities. The focus will be on developing environmentally friendly construction materials, including cementitious and gypsum formulations, and adjuvants to enhance their properties during application and over time.

The role involves studying the use of these materials in new construction methods and system applications, including formulation, rheology, mechanics, and thermal characterization. The work will be conducted in laboratories, with collaboration with research technicians, and may include field tests and visits to other Saint-Gobain sites in France and abroad. Supervision of projects will be part of the responsibilities.

You will work within a young, dynamic, and collaborative team, engaging in international collaborations, client discussions, and project management, including budgeting and planning.

Qualifications include a PhD in physical chemistry of materials, comfort working at the interface of chemistry and physics, and strong communication skills in both French and English. A passion for experimental work, formulation, and process development is essential.
