An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join their Lyon team. This role involves working on diverse projects related to mobility, energy, and territorial development. You will be responsible for producing environmental design studies, preparing regulatory dossiers, and managing interfaces with specialized environmental studies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bac+5 degree in Environmental Engineering and have over 2 years of relevant experience. Within the Environmental and Ecological Engineering (IEE) activity, you will report to the activity manager at the Lyon site, serving as an Environmental Engineer/Officer.
You will primarily work on projects at all study stages related to infrastructure for mobility, energy, and territorial development, including road, highway, rail transport, energy transport, ports, airports, activity zones, multimodal platforms, and infrastructure buildings, both public and private.
As a generalist environmentalist, your responsibilities will include:
You hold a Bac+5 degree in Environmental Engineering (Master 2, Engineer diploma, or equivalent) and have over 2 years of experience, particularly in environmental engineering for infrastructure, territorial development, or energy projects.
You possess solid knowledge of general environmental aspects related to development projects and regulatory procedures.
You are autonomous in drafting environmental assessments and have strong writing and interpersonal skills.
You are motivated by diverse missions and projects, from preliminary phases to project completion, with varying types and complexities.
You meet deadlines and ensure the reliability of studies.
You have a strong team spirit and enjoy working within a multidisciplinary, committed, and supportive team.
Short-term travel may be required depending on assigned projects.
Additional qualities include oral proficiency, synthesis skills, analytical rigor, presentation skills, and teamwork. Proficiency in a foreign language (English or others) is an asset for career development within Egis Group. A valid driving license (Permis B) is mandatory.
You will join the Environmental Service Line in Lyon, which comprises 85 environmental specialists, including a team of 25 project managers and generalist engineers, and about thirty specialists in ecology, landscape, electromagnetic fields, acoustics, vibration, geomatics, and asbestos removal.
