A Day in the Life

Seize the opportunity to be at the forefront of the future of electrophysiology. As an Application Engineer within our Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team, you will have a direct impact on advancing patient care through Medtronic's technologies and therapies. We are dedicated to dominating the market with our Affera mapping and ablation system, innovating cutting-edge ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and traditional electrophysiology (EP) products.

Join our team and become part of a community of experts committed to ensuring quality and affordable care worldwide. This position is based in France and is remote. Proficiency in English is preferred.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Planning programs in collaboration with the sales director and other groups to train clients
  2. Providing technical support to clients regarding CAS products and procedures
  3. Supporting sales and marketing teams during presentations and new product launches
  4. Reporting on account activities, market trends, and competition
  5. Gathering and reporting customer feedback, product issues, legal concerns, and complaints related to events involving products
  6. Handling administrative tasks, including providing regular activity reports to the sales director

Required Knowledge and Experience

  1. Master's degree in life sciences or engineering
  2. Experience with electrophysiology procedures and products, ideally in cardiac mapping
  3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels
  5. Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy

Experience in the medical device industry, including in an operating room environment, is a plus.

This role also offers the opportunity to work in France and occasionally in Western Europe. Travel may account for 80-100% of work time, providing invaluable experience across various markets and building a strong international network.
