Position

Control Command Engineer - Platform Testing

Prepare and conduct tests on the Control Command System dedicated to the steam turbine and its auxiliaries at our Belfort facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify electrical wiring required for testing (simulator connection).
• Review project source documents (PFUPs / IO list / Wiring diagrams / network / etc.).
• Verify testing procedures for all systems of the steam turbine and auxiliaries.
• Provide solutions to issues encountered during tests.
• Execute and document test reports.
• Record and share problems encountered (Lessons Learned).
• Use available IT tools for quality, reporting, and tracking.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) with clients.
• Work safely and adhere to HSE rules.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

• Generalist Engineer degree focused on Automation (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar activity (Energy / Automotive / others).

Specific Knowledge and Skills

• Good understanding of process engineering and engineering processes.
• Solid knowledge of steam turbine control systems and auxiliaries.
• Familiarity with systems ALSPA P320 & GE Mark VI.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate effectively.
• Ability to delegate and supervise.
• Problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Strong oral and written communication skills at all levels, with a preference for personal contact.
• Team spirit.
• Proactive and committed.
