We are seeking an IT Support & Infrastructure Refresh Engineer for a six-month contract at a client’s facility in Combourg, Brittany, France, with the possibility of permanent employment.

The role involves providing technical support to end users (administrative and operational staff) for desktops, applications, and related technologies. Interaction with various levels of users, including managers and VIPs, as well as technical staff, is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Specifying, installing, and testing computer systems and peripherals according to client standards.
• Installing, configuring, reconfiguring, or reinstalling software, including remote installations.
• Handling IMAC functions, including installation and decommissioning.
• Prioritizing support requests via the ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Training and sharing knowledge on hardware and software within internal teams.

Qualifications include:

• An IT Diploma with 2-3 years of experience as an IT support/maintenance technician.
• Strong user support experience.
• Good understanding of general IT services, including network, security, servers, and telecommunications (mobile telephony).
• Proficiency in Microsoft OS installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in desktop and workstation repair and installation.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Fluent in French with good technical English skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French and English with teams in France, Poland, and India.
