Information Technology Technician

Telework Position with up to 50% travel CONUS/OCONUS

Responsibilities

• Support the installation of cable, SATCOM, and telecommunications systems within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS).
• Install and assist in implementing and integrating information systems under the guidance of the Senior Network Engineer.
• Build and install communications equipment racks within fixed facilities.
• Estimate, build, install, and groom cable/fiber within fixed facilities, including overhead and underfloor installations.
• Perform power distribution analysis for communications racks.
• Assist Network and SATCOM Engineers in the integration of fixed facility communications.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade customer systems.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements proactively.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with cable and fiber installation and repair.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with SATCOM systems.

Preferred Certifications

CompTIA Security+ (Sec+)

Experience & Education

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the installation of telecommunication systems.
• USA/USAF/USN Technical School Diploma.

Security & Citizenship Requirements

• Minimum active DoD Secret clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Valid Passport required.
