We are currently seeking an Information Security Project Manager, reporting directly to Head of Department to join our Information Technology team based in Lyon or Nanterre, France.

The Cyber Security department at Technip Energies serves as the internal center of excellence, responsible for defining, implementing, and enforcing security across the entire enterprise, covering both IT and critical Operational Technology (OT) environments across our global footprint. We manage the entire cyber security lifecycle, including Cyber Risk Management, Compliance and Assurance, Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering, Security Operations, Cyber Awareness ,as well as active role in delivering solutions to our customers.

Inside the Cyber Security global organization, the Information Security in Business Projects department is dedicated to proposing (commercial offers) and delivering services to the customers of Technip Energies. These services are not sold independently, they are integrated in the Technip Energies' Projects' content, meaning Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, sometimes extended to Operations & Maintenance. They are also to be understood inside the business model of Technip Energies being a general contractor. For this reason, they are often more oriented toward the OT aspects (industrial Cyber Security) than the IT ones and Vendors Management.

For this department, we are looking for an Information Security Project Manager (ISPM) to be based on our Lyon or Paris Operating Center.

BEFORE OUR INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

The ISPM is involved in the Proposal phase (or tendering), when the commercial offers are being emitted to potential customers, targeting at tentative Projects (prospects).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be responsible for analyzing the documentation provided by potential customers, outlining from it the key elements requiring our inputs, writing commercial narratives and preparing a quotation for the services of your colleagues (hours and costs).

This commercial role is an important part of the job as all the Projects are originally prospects, and this moment allows to anticipate on and budget the requirements.

INSIDE OUR INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

• Project Management: you will be assigned to one or several Projects inside Technip Energies, based on the proposals that are being awarded. You will be responsible for the compliance of your activities with the sequences, processes and milestones defined at the Project-level (and under the Project organization: local hierarchy).
• Team Management: the ISPM can be assigned in various sizes of Projects. If you are not alone, you will supervise a small team from 1 to 5 OT Cyber Security Engineers.
• OT Cyber Security (instantiated through Vendors Management): consuming the majority of your working time, the OT Cyber Security activities will lead you to defining the requirements, participating to the selection of OT product suppliers, onboarding them, following of their actions to fulfill their contractual requirements inside our business Projects, guiding them through the OT Risk Assessments and OT Cyber Architecture design, and finally testing the solutions manufactured by the product suppliers.
• IT Cyber Security: less commonly, you will be required to handle more classical IT Cyber Security activities if the customers have specified them in business contracts or if required by the governance of Technip Energies.
• Information Security: same as for the IT Cyber Security, but you extend your knowledge and practices to non-technical aspects (like a documents handling procedure, etc).

On a case-by-case basis, and only for the part that is related to business Projects or business-related activities

About you

• Engineering diploma in telecom engineering or industrial cybersecurity engineering. Holding a diploma in engineering, such as instrumentation, is also possible.
• Professional certifications in the Cyber Security fields will be a plus. Recommended particularly: ISA/IEC 62443 and ISO 27001, or equivalent
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in either OT Projects Management or Industrial Project Management.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in team management or team coordination
• You have ideally an experience in the Energy sector or a similar industrial one

KEY SKILLS TO A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• You speak English fluently, as this will be the shared language with your colleagues and most customers
• Project Management skills account for 50% of your future success, since the role requires polyvalence (the capability to prioritize, plan and budget activities for delivering a service, communicate about them, trigger the necessary collaboration, and reach the completion stage on time, within budget and with the expected level of quality)
• A strategic point of view and the capacity to explain it to non-IT/OT practitioners will be an advantage
• The ability to coordinate alternatively with technical roles (engineers, from Cyber Security or not: Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, etc) is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You are at ease to work with plenty of documents, reading or writing them, may they be technical specifications, procedures or contracts
• Customer and business-oriented (we are selling services)
• Contract and cost-minded
• Autonomous and problem-solving mindset
