Job Overview

The Information Security Lead Expert is responsible for developing and executing the strategic approach to Information Security within AXA.

Organization Context

You will be part of the Group Security division, setting security standards across AXA entities, overseeing the overall security posture, and providing centralized support services (e.g., Crisis Management, Security Operations Centre).

Our security community comprises approximately 1,000 professionals dedicated to protecting our customers, operations, brand, and staff. It encompasses three disciplines: Information Security, Operational Resilience, and Physical Security.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor the evolving security threat landscape.
• Define and implement security standards and strategies across the Group.
• Engage with senior executives (COO, CIO, CTO, CFO) to align security objectives.
• Ensure AXA GO's security and compliance as an entity and service provider.
• Deliver centralized security services and products to AXA entities.

Division Structure

The Group Security division includes:

• Corporate Functions: Security Advisory, Governance, Risk & Assurance, Awareness
• Cyber Defense
• GO Security (security of AXA GO as an entity and service provider)
• Chief Security Officers overseeing various markets

GO Security Department

This department ensures AXA GO's security as an entity and for its delivered products, divided into five teams:

• GO Security Oversight
• GO Security Engineering CoE
• GO Security Technical Design & Assurance
• GO Product Security Office
• GO Security Operational Excellence

The GO Security Oversight team’s key duties include:

• Protecting information, technology, and physical assets from threats.
• Developing and enforcing security policies aligned with group standards and regulations.
• Managing security risks and reporting to security committees.
• Overseeing security testing, awareness programs, compliance, and physical security.

Position Details

Reporting to the GO Security Oversight Executive Manager, the Lead Expert will spearhead the development and execution of AXA’s information security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team’s objectives and manage security policy updates and development.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, communicate policies, and raise awareness.
• Handle security requests, incidents, and manage security risks.
• Oversee cyber defense activities, including pentesting and vulnerability management.
• Ensure accurate asset documentation and monitor security scores.
• Manage security incidents, threats, and contribute to audit remediation.

Candidate Profile

We seek candidates with:

• A university degree in Security Management, IT, or related fields.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• At least 10 years of experience, including 5+ years in team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, incident management, and audit tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is advantageous.
