Jobtailor is seeking an experienced security leader to act as an outsourced Chief Information Security Officer for regional SMEs and mid-sized companies in France. The role focuses on governance, risk identification, and strategy development, with strong collaboration across client teams.

You will draft policies, run security awareness programs, and lead implementation of protection measures. Travel to client sites across the country may be required, and English proficiency is valued.

• Demonstrates expertise in Information Systems Security governance, risk assessment, and the development of security strategies and policies.
• Capable of leading security awareness initiatives and training programs while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Serve as an outsourced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for regional SMEs and mid-sized companies.
• Define and support Information Systems Security governance.
• Conduct information security discovery audits to identify key risks and perform a cross-functional review of the client’s practices.
• Define a security strategy and action plan with monitoring indicators.
• Draft information security governance documents, including Information Security Policies, IT charters, and data governance frameworks.
• Lead the implementation of technical and organizational protection measures.
• Conduct information systems security and data protection awareness campaigns.
• Define security awareness and training programs.
• Deliver training sessions.
• Collaborate with the manager and subject-matter experts for support throughout assignments.

Requirements

• Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent university-level program
• At least 3 years of experience in consulting or working for an end client
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Good command of English is a plus
• Business travel to client sites across the country may be required, depending on the position or business needs
• Completion of a security clearance application for the protection of national defense secrets
