Qualifications

• Master en ingénierie, urbanisme, M&E ou domaine similaire.
• 5 à 10 ans d'expérience dans la construction de bâtiments industriels.
• Expérience significative en M&E.

Description du poste

Reporting to the Europe Industry Director, the Industry Europe Project Director is responsible for the performance guarantee of entrusted industrial projects in Europe, including Pre-design agreements, Design review agreements, and Design & Build contracts. He/she oversees design development after contract signing and monitors proper execution through to construction. As a project leader, the Industry Europe Project Director maintains customer relationships, leads change management, and coordinates the international project design team. Additionally, they may manage M&E packages during construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Bidding phase:

• Collaborates with the Industry Europe Design Director.
• If needed, temporarily replaces the Design Director and works closely with the business development team on sales offers.

Design phase:

• Works closely with the Design Director.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships, serving as a key client contact.
• Utilizes the supply chain effectively.
• Ensures production of all deliverables such as technical memoranda, design proposals, schedules, method statements, and cost breakdowns.
• Manages internal and external design resources.
• Conducts technical design and estimating, collaborating with business development and project teams from kickoff to contract signing.
• Optimizes building design and technical solutions.

Construction phase:

• Collaborates with the local project team.
• Responsible for performance guarantees.
• Participates in monthly steering committees.
• Leads change management efforts.
• Provides technical support to the construction team.
• Ensures work progress aligns with design specifications.
• Maintains client relationships and satisfaction throughout the project.

Management of M&E:

• Depending on the profile and project needs, may oversee M&E packages.
• Part of the local construction team.
• Responsible for purchasing and approving sub-contractor designs.
• Supervises M&E work progress and guarantees performance.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in civil engineering, urbanism, M&E, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial building construction.
• Significant M&E experience.
• Fluent in English and Italian or Spanish; French is a plus.
