Purpose

IDEMIA Road Safety is hiring a Manufacturing & Industrialization Engineer.

Your main mission is to transform innovative ideas into industrialized products of high quality, delivered on time and within budget. As the industrialization referent, you oversee the entire production launch process, from pre-project to series production. You also serve as a key interface between project teams and industrial partners, both in France and internationally.

Key Missions

• Manage industrial subcontractors (mechanical, electronic, integration) regarding quality, costs (recurring and non-recurring), and deadlines
• Validate manufacturing processes, test benches, calibration software, traceability, and packaging
• Challenge technical choices to ensure robustness and reproducibility
• Define the optimal industrial setup and select appropriate partners
• Evaluate subcontractors’ technical and industrial proposals (feasibility, costs, special processes)
• Structure Statements of Work (SOW) to frame supplier commitments
• Conduct line audits and propose optimization opportunities
• Manage production prioritization and conflicts between projects
• Ensure the quality of delivered products
• Lead hardware qualification with certification bodies
• Structure the product technical file
• Contribute to patent strategy and responsible innovation (prototypes, CSR projects)
• Ensure supplier quality

Profile & Other Information

Engineering degree

3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment (mechanical, electronic, integration)

Strong expertise in manufacturing of technical products and bridging design with production

Solid know-how in mechanical, electronic, and industrial product assembly

Proven experience managing production lines or industrial processes

Rigorous, autonomous, and able to challenge partners constructively

Strong hands-on leadership and field presence

Fluent in English
