Job Description:

You will join the Industrial Technologies and Innovation team responsible for preparing future technologies for our helicopters and V-TOL platforms, as well as supporting continuous improvement of the current production system.

Your challenges:

Innovation & maturity:

  • Assess the maturity of system technological components during the R&T-R&D transition as the Operations focal point (TRL-MRL evaluation)
  • Support the implementation of product lines on electrical systems and assemblies
  • Identify and gather operational needs for improvements and propose existing solutions or map innovation needs
  • Lead the technological strategy for systems, wiring, and electrical integration activities, including funding (Airbus Group, Airbus Helicopters, external) and participate in activities with centers of excellence
  • Establish and animate the transnational AH Process Technology network (APT Leader Systems focusing on R&T and dissemination)
  • Align with the design office on product policies and industrial requirements
  • Coordinate with PSP engineering and program teams
  • Advance the maturity of all technological components to ensure high production rates and control costs, delays, and environmental impacts.

Support to production:

  • Support and lead initiatives to improve quality and productivity
  • Contribute to the industrialization of new programs and eliminate recurring issues in current programs
  • Harmonize Manufacturing Engineering principles, processes, and technologies within AH Operations, aligning and negotiating industrial capabilities and requirements
  • Benchmark and disseminate best practices

Your profile:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical technologies within and outside the aeronautics sector
  • Knowledge of helicopter systems
  • Experience in production or design office positively valued
  • Project management skills

IT & language skills:

  • French: negotiation level
  • English: negotiation level
  • German and/or Spanish: optional
  • Basic SAP and Catia skills are a plus but not mandatory

  • Team spirit and ability to work in a transnational environment
