Job summary

Dioxycle is seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join during a pivotal phase of transition from R&D to industrial piloting and early commercial deployment in Paris, France.

You will split time roughly 70/30 between process simulation/design and hands-on experimental work, with the experimental share increasing during key testing campaigns. You will work closely with our principal process engineer to translate research into robust, industrial-scale designs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of process engineering experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong command of Aspen Plus for process simulation and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with pilot/ skid-scale experiments.
• Fluent in English and able to work in a tight-knit technical team.
• Good project management and milestone-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Simulate, model, and optimize process flowsheets (Aspen Plus) to support design and de-risking decisions.
• Benchmark and screen candidate technologies, engaging with suppliers to identify the right solutions.
• Scope, follow up, and steer external technical and experimental studies by suppliers and partners.
• Contribute hands-on to pilot/skid-scale campaigns during peak testing.
• Collaborate with the principal process engineer to translate research into industrial designs.
• Bring an industrial/operations mindset to test constraints against real plant conditions.
