Job summary

CAILabs, based in Rennes, is strengthening its Industrial Methods team to industrialize products, standardize production and prepare for Factory 27. The Industrial Methods Engineer will structure and continuously improve manufacturing methods to support the company’s scale-up.

Reporting to the Head of Industrial Methods in a multidisciplinary R&D environment, you will act as a key interface between Development and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Development team to industrialize new products
• Proposing design modifications to improve manufacturability and support the standardization of subassemblies
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes and improve industrial performance
• Defining, maintaining, and managing product industrial documentation within the ERP system, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing routings, and procedures
• Acting as the Industrial Methods reference for both Operations and Development teams on industrialization and manufacturing process topics.

To support the industrialization of its products, the continuous improvement of its manufacturing processes, and the preparation of its future production facility, Factory 27, Cailabs is strengthening its Industrial Methods team. As part of this strategic growth phase, the Industrial Methods Engineer will play a key role in structuring, standardizing, and continuously improving production methods to support the company’s scale-up.

Reporting to the Head of Industrial Methods and working within a multidisciplinary R&D environment, you will act as a key interface between the Development and Operations teams.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Working closely with the Development team to industrialize new products ;
