Job summary

CAILabs in Rennes, France seeks a Mechatronics Methods Engineer to optimize and industrialize our product manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with the Development team to industrialize new products and with the Development team to characterize and qualify manufacturing processes.

You will proactively suggest process optimizations and be responsible for defining and managing ERP-based documentation, including BOMs, routings and procedures.

Qualifications

• Industrialization expertise in mechatronics or similar field.
• Experience in defining and managing manufacturing documentation (BOM, routing, procedures).
• Ability to collaborate across R&D and development teams to qualify processes.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products in collaboration with the Development team.
• Characterize and qualify manufacturing processes.
• Propose optimizations for manufacturing workflows.
• Define and manage product documentation in the ERP system (BOM, routing, procedures).
• Serve as Methods tools expert and improve standardization of work methods.
• Act as process/methods reference for Operations and Development teams.
