Celeros Flow Technology, Annecy site, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join the Assembly and Fitting team. You will assemble centrifugal pump subassemblies, verify measurements, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in a nuclear/oil environment.

You will work in a hands-on, autonomous role with a small team, using measuring tools and handling equipment to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in the mechanical field or a technical degree in mechanics (Bachelor level).
• Experience with rotating equipment preferred.
• Hands-on and autonomous, able to work as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Assemble subassemblies following the correct sequence to ensure functional clearances (heat fitting, nitrogen fitting, torque control).
• Prepare workstation, identify parts, tooling and assembly steps for the subassembly.
• Verify calibration of measuring instruments and perform dimensional/geometric inspections.
• Identify anomalies and report deviations.
• Handle parts using equipment (stackers, pallet trucks, overhead cranes).
• Complete documentation in routing and applicable procedures.
• Ensure safety instructions are followed and quality objectives met.

ClydeUnion Pumps SAS, a brand of the Celeros Flow Technology group, is one of the global specialists in industrial pumping solutions, providing expertise across numerous sectors. Our French site, employing 200 people and located in Annecy (74), specializes in the design and manufacture of centrifugal pumps, primarily for the Oil & Gas and Nuclear markets.

Reporting to the Methods Manager, you prepare, define, and optimize the resources required for the production of motor pump units. You contribute to the industrialization of new products, the evolution of standards, the drafting and updating of procedures, the validation of processes and tooling, as well as the management of investment and standardization projects, in compliance with Quality, Nuclear Safety, and Q3SER/HSE requirements.

Position Context:

Integrated into the Assembly and Fitting department and reporting to the Final Assembly Manager the Industrial Mechanic, you will join a team of five pump fitters to carry out various assembly and adjustment operations. Your role is to ensure the assembly of centrifugal pump subassemblies in compliance with routings, drawings, and nuclear/oil industry codes, while meeting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

Based on the manufacturing routing and general assembly drawings, you are responsible for assembling new pumps and have the following duties:

• Prepare the workstation and identify all parts, tooling, and assembly steps required for assembling the subassembly.
• Verify the calibration of the measuring instruments used.
• Carry out dimensional checks using appropriate measuring tools (dimensional and geometric inspection).
• Identify anomalies and report any deviations.
• Assemble subassemblies following the correct assembly sequence to ensure compliance with functional clearances (heat fitting, nitrogen fitting, torque control, etc.).
• Handle parts using the available equipment (stackers, pallet trucks, overhead cranes).
• Continuously check the conformity of the assembly throughout the process (measurements, hydraulic clearances, manual rotation of rotating parts).
• Complete all documentation listed in the manufacturing routing and applicable procedures.

You have at least 3 years of experience in the mechanical field, or you hold a technical degree in mechanics (Bachelor’s level, 2 to 3 years of higher education). Ideally, you have worked with rotating equipment.

You are a hands‑on, autonomous individual who enjoys working as part of a team. You are able to adapt to daily constraints while working with rigor and adhering to safety instructions.
