Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Regulation and Control Valves Technician in France. You will prepare assembly work, document procedures, and assemble equipment and tools, performing test requirements.

You will disassemble, clean, inspect and reassemble valves and actuators using OEM parts, with travel of 5–10% for on-site support as needed. You should have a technical diploma (BAC+2 or equivalent) and preferably 5 years of related experience, with strong knowledge of industrial valves,

Qualifications

• Experience with assembling, testing and repairing control and regulation valves.
• Ability to draft inspection and repair reports with clear findings.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% and to work overtime when required.
• Strong documentation skills in English and French an asset.
• Lead a small team or work independently as the situation demands.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble, clean, inspect and reassemble control valves, butterfly valves, ball- and plug valves and actuators using OEM parts.
• Test/verify valve performance and related appendages with appropriate equipment.
• Draft clear inspection and repair reports and justify the scope of work.
• Support Field Service Technician on location when needed.
• Travel 5–10% of time and be available for overtime on short notice.
• Collaborate with Regional Supervisor Field Service & Service Coordinator to optimize processes.

Role Summary

The Regulation and control valves technician will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements. Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.

• You will be responsible for the careful disassembly, cleaning, inspection and skilled repair/rebuild of control valves, butterfly valves, ball- and plug valves and pneumatic actuators using OEM parts.


• The tasks are multifaceted, also because each type of valve entails a different working method.


• You are able to test (control) valves and appendages, using various testing equipment.


• You will support our Field Service Technician, to perform work on location, when required.


• You will draft clear inspection/repair reports to advise and justify the scope of work.


• You are willing to travel 5-10% of your time, willing to work overtime as required on short notice.

In this role you will report to our Regional Supervisor Field Service & Service Coordinator and as a team we are responsible for further optimizing the service & repair processes.

Your profile

• Technical diploma ( BAC+2 or equivalent) with preferably minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.


• You are competent and driven.


• Strong expertise in industrial valves ( control and regulation) technical lead within the team.


• You are a team player but also used to working independently.


• Furthermore, you are accurate, flexible, customer-oriented and think in terms of solutions.


• You have good documentation skills regarding reports and other records.


• You are willing to follow training abroad.


• You have a good command of the French and technical English level.
