Join Kronospan, a fast-growing international industrial company, with more than 40 wood-based panel manufacturing sites all over the world, as our Electrical Engineer.

Your day-to-day work is to:

- Correct or have corrected any electrical anomaly
- Put in place the appropriate devices in order to allow safe interventions
- Report any abnormal non-electrical situation that may cause incidents or accidents, whether personal, environmental or material
- Establish the list of preventive work to be done
- Organize and follow up on control tours (ideally weekly) of the overall installation
- Participate in the management of the spare parts stock
- Prepare the shutdown based on observations and presentation during preparation meetings.
- Assist the day technician if needed
- Analyze and take actions according to the importance of the problems.
- Optimize the process and the production tool
- Costing and estimation of the investment cost
- Call for tenders: sending to suppliers
- Follow-up of the construction site
- Important modifications: co-monitoring with a technician
- Respect of the deadlines for the commissioning of the machines
- Technical negotiation with the supplier: technical requirements and price

Profil

Our perfect match for this role is someone production-oriented, highly reliable with a certain ability to work under pressure.

Also, to be our future Electrical Engineer you must meet the following prerequisites:

- At least 5 years in industry (PLCs, drives, computer science, electronics, regulation)
- Experience with programming of industrial automatons, troubleshooting
- Fluent in French, German and/or English;
- Knowledge in hardware, Pack Office and Siemens PLCs;
- Technical Diploma (Bachelor as a minimum).
