Nexans in Île-de-France seeks an experienced Industrial Data & Analytics Specialist to lead data platforms, dashboards and performance projects across plants. You will partner with IT, performance and site teams to turn data into actionable insights, support AI initiatives, and drive adoption of data tools like Historian, MES and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial data, manufacturing analytics, performance analysis, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of industrial data flows from shop-floor systems to data platforms and data lakes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable operational insights.
• Comfortable working at the interface between operations, performance teams, and IT/digital functions.
• Proactive, structured, and curious mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to onboard and convince diverse stakeholders to drive adoption of data tools and platforms.
• Hands-on experience with industrial systems such as Historian, MES, SCADA, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Grafana).
• Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory). - Other languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus depending on plant locations.

Responsabilités

• Act as SME for industrial data platforms, including Historian, Insight and Databricks applications.
• Train users and achieve a strong level of application stabilization and adoption, with support from IT and external suppliers.
• Serve as SME and Data Owner for industrial performance data within the data lake, ensuring data quality and governance.
• Own and maintain industrial performance dashboards, aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate with data stream owners to identify synergies and visualization opportunities.
• Analyze industrial and operational data to identify performance improvement opportunities across sites.
• Translate challenges into KPIs and analytical use cases.
• Design, develop, and deploy standardized dashboards and analytics tools.
• Onboard users onto data tools and provide training to enable effective use.
