Job summary

Cognite is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Bordeaux, France. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Rest APIs, and work with Kubernetes, GCP/Azure to deliver industrial data solutions.

You will collaborate with data scientists, project managers and solution architects to turn customer needs into actionable data products and contribute to Cognite Data Fusion platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in customer-facing data roles.
• Experience delivering production-grade data pipelines with Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud services (GCP and/or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable data solutions using Cognite Data Fusion.
• Drive integrations, data modeling, and analysis with SQL, Python/Java, and APIs.
• Collaborate with data scientists, project managers and solution architects on deliveries.
• Support customers and contribute to Cognite tools and SDKs.
